Donation terms

This English version is a translation. If it differs from the Estonian original, the Estonian original prevails.

Donations made on the Anneta Targalt website are transferred by the website's operator, MTÜ Efektiivne Altruism Eesti, to the charities described on the website. The association passes on all donations to the charities described on the website, except where the donor has expressed a wish to donate in support of the association's own activities.

Because MTÜ Efektiivne Altruism Eesti is on the list of associations with an income tax incentive, donors in Estonia receive an income tax refund on their donations, provided the donor has correctly given their full name and personal identification code. We pass the donation data on to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board by 1 February of the calendar year following the donation, and the Estonian Tax and Customs Board pays out the income tax refund after the tax return has been filed.

A private individual can deduct up to €1,200 a year for donations and training costs together, and no more than 50% of their taxable income.

A company can choose at the end of each year whether its donations are subject to a limit of 10% of the previous financial year's profit or 3% of the same year's payments subject to social tax (the payroll).

The donation data of people who have donated to the association automatically appears on the donor's pre-filled tax return.

If you have set up a recurring donation, you can cancel it at any time through your bank.

MTÜ Efektiivne Altruism Eesti is the controller of personal data and passes the personal data needed to make payments on to the processor Montonio Finance UAB.

By donating, you agree to our website's privacy policy.
