The Founders Pledge Climate Fund aims to achieve sustainable near-zero emissions worldwide.
Current levels of emissions cause millions of deaths every year from air pollution and do irreversible damage to our planet. On top of this, millions of people around the world lack access to modern energy technology, which seriously hinders development goals.
By pooling contributions, the fund allows individual donors to support organisations that require large minimum donations or whose opportunities for impact are short-lived, and it simplifies the administrative process for both donors and grantees.
Using a holistic approach that recognises the global and overlapping nature of climate-related problems, Founders Pledge finds the most cost-effective giving opportunities, so that time-constrained donors can be confident their donations really make a difference.
